what is a good landscape planning software?

i've got a large landscaping project and want to do some proper planning for it to try out various designs. is there any worthwhile software to facilitate landscape planning?

1. The BH&G.com website shows the various programs they have. I got the Designer Pro plan, it cost about $100.00, and it contains all kind of programs for designing with, including interior design, architecture, landscaping. It is very user friendly. I think they sell a landscape program by it self for about 1/2 what I paid. Try the website, they might even offer demo software, worth inquiring. Better Homes and Garden a great website to visit.
